Greenwell Motor Company ("Greenwell Motor Co", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices and rights available to you.

Information we collect

  • Visit and device information, including pages and URLs visited, page titles, referring page, campaign query parameters, IP address, browser user-agent, language, time zone, screen and viewport dimensions, device memory and processor concurrency when your browser makes them available.
  • Browser characteristics used for analytics: hashes derived from canvas, WebGL and font measurements, and WebGL vendor and renderer details. These characteristics may help distinguish a browser when combined, even though some values are hashed.
  • Identifiers stored in first-party cookies: a visitor identifier that can last for up to one year and a session identifier that expires when the browser session ends. We may also receive Meta/Facebook browser and click identifiers when present.
  • If you submit a lead or enquiry, the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, current income situation and age-eligibility response, together with the page and campaign information associated with your enquiry.

How we use information

We use this information to:

  • Operate the website and respond to vehicle, finance or other enquiries.
  • Understand website use, measure advertising and improve our services.

Cookies and analytics

We use first-party cookies to link page visits within a browser session and recognise returning browsers. The website also sends page-view and browser characteristic information to the GreenwellAnalytics service. Meta's (Facebook's) Pixel is used to measure page views and advertising activity; Meta may collect information through its own technologies and process it under its own privacy terms.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings and restrict JavaScript or third-party content. Doing so may limit some website features and may not prevent all server-side information from being received.

Who we share information with

Information is processed by Greenwell Motor Co and the service providers we use to run the website, analytics and advertising. Information you provide through the finance application on our Finance page is collected and handled by Greenwell Motor Co under this policy.

Storage and retention

We and our service providers may process information in New Zealand or other countries where their systems operate. We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
